How do I get to Camp Loughridge?

Camp Loughridge Address: 4900 W. 71st St Tulsa, OK 74131

Both the Main Entrance and  the West Gate will be open during pick up and drop off times. If you need to enter camp at a time the gate is not open, there will be a number on the gate you can call and Camp Loughridge can open it for you. We will be using the West portion of the camp. Please drive slowly on the windy streets as there are other groups using the camp during the week.

Directions to Main Gate: Take 71st Street west, past Oaks Country Club and then you will see a large sign for Camp Loughridge. Once inside the camp, follow the directional signs for VBS to the Chapel.

Directions to the West Gate:  Take I-44 West, following signs to Hwy 66 to Sapulpa.  Exit off I-44 onto Hwy 66.  Turn left at Bob Hurley Buick (comes quickly after exit).  Curve around onto access road.  Turn right onto S. 57th West Ave (this is a quick right.  “Go West Steakhouse” is on the corner).  Follow S. 57th West Ave. Go straight at “STOP” sign.  Follow road straight into gravel road and back gates for Camp Loughridge.  This will take you to the back area of the camp where we have our VBS.

Drop off: Once inside the camp fence turn right at the end of the gravel road, then Turn left into the gravel parking lot (just before the West King’s Dome) and pull around to the sidewalk that leads up to the chapel. Please be ready to have your children exit the car, this means....shoes & sunscreen on, no water bottles, cell phones or electronic devices, bags or backpacks! Drop off begins at 8:45.   A Hi-Helper will take your child into the chapel to their Adult Leader.

Pick up:  VBS concludes at 12:00 p.m. Once inside the camp fence turn right at the end of the gravel road and pull up to the West King’s Dome and a volunteer will bring your child to your car.  Don’t forget your hang tag! Children may leave only with the person who has their hang tag!

What should my child wear to VBS?

Please be sure your child wears comfortable clothing. Children will be walking around the camp and playing active games. Please have your child wear his or her VBS t-shirt. Socks and tennis shoes are strongly preferred - no sandals, flip-flops or crocs, please. VBS t-shirts will be distributed at the VBS Kick-off.
