Martin Luther described Isaiah 53 as the “foremost passage on the suffering and resurrection of Christ.” The world’s great musicians have put it to music in ways that have inspired millions.
You’re invited to join in Stephenson Hall on Wednesday nights, beginning May 29th, at 6:30 p.m. (optional dinner at 5:45 p.m.) as Dr. Miller and Ron Pearson team up to lead an in-depth study into Isaiah 53. We’ll explore the impact of this text on Jewish and Christian understanding, the interpretation of Isa. 53 in the New Testament, the power of the text in both the art and music of the church, and more.
