Story-Shaped Worship, the Biblical Shape of Christian Liturgy
From the first “worship war” in Genesis 3, to the heavenly worship glimpsed in the book of the Revelation, there is a biblical pattern for the worship of GOD. Understanding the shape of worship has a lot to do with understanding the GOD who is worshipped.

Parenting in the Pew, Guiding the Congregation’s Children into the Joy of Worship
A service a worship is very often the cradle of faith that gently rocks with a liturgical rhythm that children learn to love. This break-out is for parents, church educators, grandparents and pastors who want to see children engaged by God in Christian worship. This seminar is based on Robbie Castleman’s best-seller, “Parenting in the Pew”.

Keynote:
Swords, Singers and Seraphs
This address will consider the centrality of worship for the identity, discipleship and witness and mission of God’s people, especially in hard times and a threatening world. Isn’t worship a waste of time when there is so much else that needs to be done? Why worship? And what does it really contribute to the roots and wings of the Christian life?

Larry is an author of three books – Rock-Solid Volunteers, Raising a Modern-Day Joseph and Rock-Solid Kids – and a speaker to audiences worldwide both inside and outside of Awana. He is also a recognized expert in issues facing families and churches in the 21st century. He and his wife, Diane, have enjoyed 38 spectacular years of marriage and are passionate about passing on their legacy to their two children and five incredible grandkids.
Keynote:
Raising a Modern-Day Joseph
Imagine this scenario for a typical teenager in your church: He’s separated from his family and sent to live in a hedonistic, no-holds-barred culture. He’s stripped of his spiritual support, left alone, and treated unfairly. Then, at his most vulnerable point, his ego is stoked with power and success. Throughout this rollercoaster ride, would he continue to serve God?
This very test was given to the Old Testament Joseph, whose faith remained rock solid. Yet it seems that our youth are ill-equipped to face the moral vacuum in today’s culture. So how can we forge sons and daughters of faith and fortitude? The vital answers are found in the story of Joseph. Drawing from this timeless narrative, author Larry Fowler offers a biblical plan for building teens who will love and serve Jesus Christ.

Kit Rae is the Family Pastor at ROCKHARBOR church in Costa Mesa, CA. He has over 13 years of ministry experience and is increasingly passionate about what the future of children’s ministries holds with the integration of spiritual formation and the family. He has earned his B.A. from Biola University in Christian Education, and his M.A. in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care from Talbot Theological Seminary. He has been married for 8 years to his best friend Gina and they love being parents to their son Ryder.
