All of these are possibilities for FPC members who participate in this year’s Easter Prayer Vigil. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals, couples, and families who want to focus on the true meaning of Easter.
First Church hopes to maintain an unbroken chain of prayer from our Maundy Thursday service to our sunrise service on Easter morning.
Over 100 30-minute prayer periods are available to vigil participants; one or more time periods can be selected. You can pray at home, or any place where you feel comfortable.
When you register for the vigil, you will receive a prayer packet that will include specific suggestions for making your prayer time beneficial and rewarding. Individuals who register online can pick up a packet at the registration table. If you are a homebound member, you may contact the church office to register and receive a packet by mail.
